San Diego Sunshine: Did you put some WOW into your work today?

Did you put some WOW into your work today?

Did you put some WOW into your work today?

Meet Justin at the Starbucks on Magnolia and Main in El Cajon, CA... he's a master at creating art that's almost too pretty to drink.

We didn't ask for this extra special touch, yet he took the time to craft it just for us. Although I ooohed and aahhed over the first starburst he made, it didn't quite meet his exacting standards, so down the drain it went, and he quickly crafted a fresh chocolate-on-whipped cream design.

Seems to me that no matter what business we're in, or how busy we are, we can always make the time to do something simple, yet extra special, for our clients, customers, friends and family. An act of random, unexpected kindness will always make somebody smile. And happy people tend to share their joy with others. Who knows who far one little nicety can spread?

Hi Barb,
Thanks for sharing.
Reading this blogs reminds me of a video I've seen with a grocery bagger that gives each customer a small note with a quote for the day. As a result of his personal touch and extra kindness his queue is always the longest in the grocery store. Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience!

Dear Barb -
Almost the proverbial "to pretty to eat"!
The first hello and positive reaction often give more happiness to our days.
Have a happy day -
Lynn

That dude at Starbucks really puts some effort into his work, and takes pride in it.

Barb -  I really liked your reminder for a everyone to put themselves out there with a random act of kindness to a total stranger.  The Starbucks employee knew what he was doing.  It put a smile on your face, and started your day off right.  Who knows how far that kindness can take us, it is a great goal for everyone to have.  Great post!

Nice to hear about someone who enjoys his work and puts something extra into it. He gives you smiles, and that gives him a better day as well.

Happiness all around - now there's a good goal!
